Dr. Edward Scarbrough
Dr. Scarbrough has loved practicing in Traverse City for over 30 years. He is native of Benzie County and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University. In his spare time, Dr. Ed enjoys pickleball, cycling, golfing and making maple syrup.
Dr. Christopher Reed
Dr. Reed is a Traverse City native and a 2018 graduate of Indiana School of Optometry. He is married with one dog, Bear. Dr. Reed enjoys skiing, backpacking, sailing, biking and running.
Pennie has worked at Scarbrough Family Eyecare for over 30 years. She is married and has two grown children. She was born and raised in beautiful Traverse City and enjoys spending time with her family.
Adam grew up around the family practice and has 5 years experience selling sunglasses in Glen Arbor during the summer months. Adam is a graduate of Central Michigan University where he studied entrepreneurship, professional sales, and marketing. He enjoys pickleball, cinematography, biking, and being outdoors with his family.
Heather has been an optician for 32 years and is married with three children. She likes spending time with her family and enjoys various hobbies.
Michelle has five years of experience working as an optician and loves working with people. She is married with five kids and enjoys watching them excel at sports and academics. She also enjoys playing softball.
Dawn has almost 30 years of secretarial experience with more than 10 years in the medical field. Dawn is a single mom with three special needs children and two dogs and a cat. She enjoys reading, crocheting and spending time with her family.
Becky has recently joined Scarbrough Family Eyecare. She has over 12 years experience working in a medical office. Becky is married and has three sons. She enjoys music, animals, crafts and spending time with family
Melissa has recently joined our practice at the Beulah location and has 24 yrs experience in the eye health industry. She is married, has 2 kids, and 2 grandkids. Melissa enjoys cooking, baking, reading, travel, & dancing
